How did the Danilo Hair Boutique begin?

Danilo and Sara met 5 and half years ago through hairdressing, doing a 2 weeks training in Milan for Aldo Coppola. Becoming partners soon after that, we were both working for other salons but our dream was to have our own business in London. So after a long time looking for the ideal location and manageable budget we joined forces and started our adventure in October 2012.

How do you make your service special for each client?

At Danilo Hair Boutique we believe our strength is our customer service. We like to maintain a warm embracing approach with every client, as we like to say “we hug our clients at 360*”going above and beyond and offering high standards of hair and beauty services.

You have quite a range of colour packages available for clients. How did you come up with them?

We put together our years of experience and training backgrounds to offer a variety of colour services from classic highlights to more updated on trend colour techniques like Ombre’ big-pic3Are there any Italian features or beauty techniques incorporated in your services, as a result of the founder’s background?

As we both trained at Aldo Coppola Academy in Milan, we took with us and still use very much a technique called Shatush. The colour is applied free hand creating a more natural sun kissed effect. It can be used on dark hair or blonde hair creating different shades from caramel tones to beautiful blondes.

In your opinion, what is the selling point of your brand? What makes you different from other hair care brands?

Our selling point as a brand is again our customer service going above and beyond our client’s needs and expectations. We pride ourselves on how we look after our clients not only from a professional aspect but personal too, ensuring clients feel welcome and valued. Also in the Chelsea area we are recognized for our long lasting blow-dries and unique colour techniques.

Can you give us some tips on how you can develop a brand and grow your customers?

Be consistent with your level of professionalism and customers service, always staying up to date with new innovations and techniques. big-pic1

According to yourself, what is the newest beauty trend out there for men or women?

This season we’re seeing a lot of braids and ice cool blondes. Soft long hair is very much in fashion again.

How do you make sure that your customers find you? Advertising online with social networks and media and within the local community through word of mouth and recommendations.

If a new business/salon was setting up, what’s the best piece of advice you could give them?

The best advice we can give is to find the right team to work with. It’s essential for a successful business.

What is next for the Danilo Hair Boutique in terms of treatments or services? What can we look forward to?

Our make up service is very much growing and we are incorporating this into our exclusive bridal package.
